Kep

Like Shihanoukville, Kep is also a coastal town of Cambodia. Being the capital of Kep Province, the town of Kep used to be the top seaside destination before being replaced by Shihanouk Ville. The town impresses tourists with vibrant as well as silent beauty.

Kampot

Kampot is a small and lovely town in the southeast of Cambodia. Located about 80 kilometers far from Gulf of Thailand, Kampot is a transaction to coastal cities of Sihanoukville or Kep. Kampong Cham

Being the third largest city in Cambodia, Kampong Cham is the third largest city in Cambodia. For many years, Kampong Cham has been an important trade and transportation hub of Cambodia. Moreover, Kampong Cham with its own laid back atmosphere and quaint charm is also a great destination.

Kampong Chhnang

Kampong Chhnang is located in the West bank of the Tonle Sap Lake at the heartland of Cambodia. This riverside city is connected to Phnom Penh by a national highway route and a railway. Thus, it is very easy for you to transfer from the capital city Phnom Penh to this lovely city.

Battambang

Located in the northwestern of Cambodia, Battambang is famous for being the rice basket of Cambodia. For many years, Battambang has been an important commercial center of Northwest Cambodia. In the recent years, Battambang has also become a tourist attraction due to its ancient temples, palatial Buddhist shrines and well-preserved colonial architecture.

Yangon

In nearly every Myanmar tour, Yangon is usually the first and foremost stop as it is the country’s must-visit tourist attraction, most bustling commercial hub as well as largest city with its area of nearly 600 square kilometers and population of about 4.4 million. Before being replaced by Nay Pyi Daw in late 2005, the city was Myanmar’s capital. Nowadays, it is the main gateway to Myanmar – via airway, waterway, and road.

Taungoo

Situated 220 kilometers (170 miles) north of Yangon, towards the northeastern end of Bago Region, Taungoo (also known as Toungoo) is a city renowned for its areca palms. It is said in Burmese proverb that for betel lovers, winning a trip to the city equals receiving unexpected good fortune. In addition, with its several eastern and western mountains where hardwoods like teak can be extracted, the main industry of Taungoo is forestry.

Taunggyi

Situated about 10 kilometers southeast of Mandalay and 500 kilometers north of Yangon, Taunggyi, meaning ‘huge mountain’ in Burmese, is the fifth largest city of Myanmar and the capital center of Shan State, Eastern Myanmar. It is the home for over 205,000 residents, including people of Bamar, Intha, Pa-Oh, and Shan.

Sagaing

Sagaing is one of the most important religious centers in the world, especially for Buddhism, with nearly 600 monasteries and convents overflowing with young novices and experienced monks and nuns. They are lovely woman and girls who are dressed in flowing pink attires and always welcome guests with pretty warm smile. Sagaing is a major centre for meditation and religious retreats, which means great views not of a busy city and streets but of wide expenses of green trees bizarrely dotted with the tops of hundreds of spires and pagodas and religious buildings.

Pyin oo Lwin

The town of Pyin Oo Lwin (also spelled Pyin U Lwin) is a pleasant hill town popular for Myanmar’s visitors from major cities to rest during summers and for foreign travelers to drop by during winters. Around 65 kilometers east of Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin is situated in the Shan Highland, at an elevation of 1070 meters above the average sea level.

Pindaya

Situated about 40 kilometers north of Kalaw, Pindaya is a township belonging to Taunggyi District, Shan State, Myanmar. Its principal town is also named Pindaya which means ‘take the spider down’ in Burmese language; however, Pindaya is actually a picturesque town. Getting to the town by a train from Aungban, you may be left breathless by the panoramic views of dreamy and alluring mountains reported to be similar to southern Italy.

Ngwe Saung

Situated to the west of Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal, about 30 miles from Pathein, the capital city of Ayeyarwaddy Division where the traditional umbrella and clay pot painting workshops are located, Ngwe Saung is a popular beach among tourists visiting Myanmar. Among all the beautiful beaches in Myanmar, Ngwesaung is the newest beach with a meaningful name: Ngwe ‘means’ Silver, which explains perfectly the silvery sand on the beach here.
