Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang is the ancient town situated in northern Laos. In 1995, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. The global body described it as an outstanding example of the fusion of traditional architecture and Lao urban structures with those built by the European colonial authorities in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its unique, remarkably well-preserved town scape illustrates a key stage in the blending of these two distinct cultural traditions.

Kuang Si Falls

The Kuang Si Falls, sometimes called Kuang Xi or known as Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls is the biggest in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. The pools also make great swimming holes and are very popular with both tourists and locals.

Khong Island

Khong Island or Don Khong is the largest island, part of the 4000 islands that include the Sii Pan Don area, located right in the south of Laos near the Cambodian border. The island has approximately 18km of the length and 8km of the widest point. With the population nearly 55,000 mainly concentrate in two villages, they are Muang Saen at the West and Muang Khong at the East.

Houay Xay

Lying on the Mekong River opposite Chiang Khong in Thailand, Houay Xay is an interesting stop station in your traveling journey. For centuries Huay Xai was a disembarkation point for Yunnanese caravans led by the Hui (Chinese Muslims) on their way to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai in ancient Siam.

Champasak

Champasak – a province in southwest is one of the largest rice baskets of Laos. Champasak is a tourist attraction address with many famous scenic spots such as: the WatPhou temple – the world’s cultural heritage, Khone and Phapheng – largest waterfall in Southeast Asia, the ancient temples bearing Angkor architecture…

Takeo

Takeo (or known as Takeo in Cambodian) is located in the Southwest of Cambodia. Province’s capital is also called Takeo. In Cambodian, this name literally means ‘crystal grandfather’. The name of Takeo often refers to the Cambodian civilization and several prominent pre-historic Angkor sites which date back from the 5th to 8th century. This place is an ideal place for natural and man-created beauty including the Scenic River, lakes and ancient buildings.

Stung Treng

Located in the western part of Virachey National Park, Stung Treng is a small and pretty town on the bank of Mekong River. Stung Treng is only 50 kilometers far from Laos border, therefore, its population is a mix of Khmer and Lao people. Not owning palatial Angkor Temples as Siem Reap or white sand beaches as Sihanoukville, Stung Treng still has its own charm which will keep tourists stay for a while.

Sihanoukville

Sihanoukville is a beautiful coastal city of Cambodia located on the Gulf of Thailand. Just 185 kilometers far from the capital of Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville has become a tourist destination recently thanks to the white sand beaches, pristine islands and high quality infrastructure.

Siem Reap

In the Northwest of Cambodia, at the middle of green paddy fields, on the banks of the Siem Reap River, there exists a lovely city sharing the same name with the river. This place is a major tourist hub of Cambodia because it is the nearest gateway to the famous temple Angkor Wat which is recognized by UNESCO as one of the seven ancient wonders of the world.

Sen Monorom

Sen Monorom is the capital city of Mondulkiri province – the largest and the most sparsely populated province in the east of Cambodia. Used to be a suffered region under the Khmer Rouge Regime, nowadays, Sen Monorom is a quiet and peaceful town which plays an important role in the economic development of the whole kingdom.

Preah Vihear

This northeast province of Cambodia is approximately 543 km far from the capital city of Phnom Penh. The province is named after the Temple of Prasat Preah Vinhear which is the major attraction of the province. Because of its location, the majority of province is remote and covered by primeval forests. Thus, the province is among the least populated provinces in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The most active place of Preah Vihear is Phnom Tbeng Meanchey – the capital of the province.

Kratie

Kratie is a small and pretty town in northeastern of Cambodia. Due to its location, Kratie is quite remote and not really developed in terms of tourism. However, with its authentic and unexploited beauty together with unique ancient Angkor Temples Kratie is still a worth-visiting destination in Cambodia.
